Ozone Sterilization Systems

WGS International manufactures and supplies Ozonation equipment for water purification and bottling applications. Ozone is the strongest oxidizer commercially available and requires a short contact time for complete disinfection of water. Ozone effectively oxidizes a variety of water borne contaminants without leaving an undesirable residual or adding to total dissolved solids (TDS) levels.

Ozone is manufactured in the generator using a high frequency electrical charge or using a specific ultraviolet light. Feed to the generator can be dried air or oxygen-enriched air for maximum Ozone output. The generator causes the oxygen molecules (O2) in the air to disassociate and reassemble as ozone (O3). The ozone is then drawn into the water, killing any bacteria, viruses or mold spores that it contacts. With a half life of approximately 20 minutes, ozone then reverts back to pure oxygen.
